Analytics

Product: WPMazic SEO Pro

The Analytics module in WPMazic SEO is a reporting and opportunity workspace that brings connected search and analytics data into one place. It helps you understand how your website is performing, where traffic is coming from, which pages need attention, and where SEO opportunities or risks are appearing.

What it is

Analytics is a centralized performance dashboard for connected data sources such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Bing. It gives site owners, SEO teams, and agencies a clear view of search visibility, traffic performance, metadata gaps, content decay, and growth opportunities.

  • Find metadata gaps across important pages
  • Identify content decay before rankings drop further
  • Discover pages with high opportunity but low optimization
  • Track SEO performance from Google Search Console, GA4, and Bing

Understanding the dashboard

Executive Pulse

Executive Pulse gives a quick high-level summary of your SEO performance, including important traffic, visibility, and risk indicators. It is useful for business owners, agencies, and managers who need a fast overview without checking every report manually.

Top Pages

This section shows the pages receiving the highest traffic, clicks, or impressions. Use it to understand which content is already working well and which pages deserve extra optimization.

Top Queries

Top Queries displays the search terms users are using to find your website. These queries can help you improve page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.

Biggest Opportunities

This section highlights pages or keywords where small improvements may create better results. For example, a page with high impressions but low CTR may need a stronger SEO title or meta description.

Content Decay Queue

The Content Decay Queue helps identify pages that are losing traffic, impressions, or rankings over time. These pages should be reviewed, refreshed, internally linked, and updated with better information.

Missing Metadata

Missing Metadata visibility helps you quickly find pages without proper SEO titles, meta descriptions, canonical settings, or other important optimization fields.

Best Practices

  • Connect both GSC and GA4 for a more complete performance view
  • Review Executive Pulse weekly to catch major SEO changes early
  • Optimize high-impression pages with low CTR first
  • Refresh decaying content before it loses more visibility
  • Fix missing metadata on important pages and posts
  • Use top queries to improve titles, headings, and content sections
  • Track opportunities regularly instead of waiting for ranking drops

Troubleshooting

Analytics data not showing

  • Make sure Google Search Console or GA4 is connected
  • Verify that the correct property is selected
  • Check if the connected account has permission to access the property
  • Refresh the data after connecting

Search Console data looks delayed

  • Google Search Console data may not appear instantly
  • Wait for the latest data to become available
  • Check the selected date range

GA4 data not matching Search Console

  • GA4 and Search Console measure data differently
  • GA4 focuses on user behavior and sessions
  • Search Console focuses on search clicks, impressions, CTR, and position
  • Use both reports together for a better SEO view

Content Decay Queue is empty

  • There may not be enough historical data yet
  • Check if Search Console data is connected properly
  • Increase the selected date range
  • Run data sync again

Compatibility & Notes

  • Requires connected search or analytics data sources for full reporting
  • Works with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
  • Bing data depends on available connection and configuration
  • Some reports may require enough historical data to show trends
  • Data may vary between platforms because each platform uses different tracking methods

This module is perfect for:

  • Website owners who want a clear SEO performance view
  • SEO professionals tracking visibility and opportunity
  • Agencies reporting results to clients
  • Content teams identifying pages that need updates
  • E-commerce sites monitoring product and category performance
